During these four weeks, our team strived hard to transfer their physical custom of sartorial grace into an online luxury setting. We quickly designed an efficient e-commerce catalog, a smooth system of appointment scheduling to custom fittings, and streamlined the cross-platform user experience. This nimble rollout enabled the brand to start receiving both pre-made and custom orders in as little time as possible without sacrificing on the luxurious looks.
The main technical problem was to create a dual-purpose digital design that can easily combine the standard e-commerce functionality with a highly personalized bespoke booking experience. We had to design a user flow that would be easy to use to serve two different needs of the clients: the shoppers who needed to quickly browse and buy ready-made accessories or fragrances, and the clients who needed an interactive design to make a booking related to having a personalized suit tailored. To make sure that neither of the journeys could be cluttered or confusing, it was necessary to have a careful navigation mapping and a minimalistic, sleek interface.
Moreover, the challenge of digitizing the tactile and high-end experience of bespoke menswear was another design challenge.
